During my Spring 2011 semester, I was enrolled in a course called Entrepreneurial Marketing. The primary component of this course is a group project through the 10-10-10 Foundation. The goal of each group in the class was to raise money, awareness, resources, etc. for a non-profit organization of their choosing.
I was fortunate enough to work with a great group of people. Our idea was to organize and produce a professional networking event in Philadelphia, which eventually came to be known as Entrepreneurial Networking Philadelphia 2011. The event was held on April 6, 2011 at Triumph Brewing Company in Old City. We had a great turnout, with a number of local entrepreneurs in attendance.
As a Co-organizer of the event, my duties also included building the website, managing online ticket sales, and designing print items.
